  7. Neymar
  8. The Eagles

  10. Canelo Alvarez

Read on for a peek at just how much these celebrities earned in 2019.

Taylor Swift

The highest-paid entertainer this year belongs to the Media and Entertainment industry and is none other than Taylor Swift. The singer/songwriter has been consistently coming up with great pop music this past decade and has topped the Billboard charts repeatedly. Now aged 30, Swift earned a whopping $185 million in 2019, which places her at the top of our list.

Kylie Jenner

Of course, everybody has heard of (or seen) Kylie Jenner and her extravagantly gorgeous lifestyle. The reality TV star/makeup mogul makes most of her earnings on social media and through her fashion and retail business. Jenner posted impressive earnings in 2019 to the tune of $170 million, earning her the number-two spot on our list. Go, Kylie!

Kanye West

Following right behind Kylie Jenner is her brother-in-law and hip-hop legend Kanye West. West makes his earnings from music as well as his Yeezy clothing and retail brand. Recently announcing his rediscovery of religion, 42-year old Kanye West made around $150 million in 2019, which puts him third on our list.

Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi is everyone’s favorite soccer star, who earned around $127 million this year. The Argentinan national and Barcelona FC superstar just turned 32 in 2019. We’d say he still has years of talented sportsmanship ahead of him to make even more money.

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran, the British songwriting/singing sensation with over 41 hits to his name, comes in at the fifth spot on our list. Aged just 28, he is one of the youngest high-earning entertainers on this list, with his star rising faster than TDS internet speeds. Sheeran raked in an impressive $110 million in 2019.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Messi is everyone’s favorite soccer superstar unless you’re a Cristiano Ronaldo fan. Known by the moniker CR7, Cristiano Ronaldo played impressively for Barcelona rival Real Madrid, before moving on to Juventus. At 34, he reported a well-earned $109 million in 2019.

Neymar

Barcelona FC is arguably the best soccer club in the world. So it stands to reason it might have another high-earning athlete, in the shape of Neymar Jr. At 27, Neymar is the youngest person on our top 10 highest-earning entertainers list. The Barcelona star earned a reported $105 million this past year.

The Eagles

The Eagles have been around for more than 3 decades, but they show no signs of slowing down. The Hotel California musical geniuses have been consistently performing music over the past year. Collectively, the band earned an impressive $100 million in 2019.

Dr. Phil McGraw

Dr. Phil McGraw is almost 70, but he’s still a popular face in almost every home with a TV. Millennials, in particular, started taking an interest in his show after the infamous “Cash me ousside, howbowdat” incident. Dr. Phil took away a cool $95 million over the past twelve months.

Canelo Alvarez

Boxing has consistently been one of the few martial sports that get universal attention, and therefore, one of the most lucrative sports for athletes. So it is no surprise that the 56-1 welterweight Canelo Alvarez makes it onto our list. With 36 of his wins coming by way of knockout, Alvarez knocked his earnings out at $94 million this past year.

However, there’s still a long way to go in 2020. You never know who is ahead till the year is up. For example, the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards may not have honored Adam Sandler, but the man still made a cool $57 million in 2019, tying with Bradley Cooper. Let’s see who earns how much in 2020.
